Helping each other to translate: Already, how to do it?

The texts to be published are usually translated towards the end of their preparation; after that, only printing and distribution remain. This means that, at times, the scheduling does not take into account the technical time required for professional translation.

Additionally, companies tend to communicate results at roughly the same time of year, causing a buildup of work and “bottlenecks” that we do our best to avoid, but which we cannot completely eliminate.

Therefore, a working methodology is necessary to allow Buroservice to ensure that your needs can be met with the utmost timeliness. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you:

  • Schedule the translation (including of websites) as an integral part of the production process, not as a subsequent consideration;
  • Book our intervention in advance;
  • Set a realistic deadline;
  • Send us the text in electronic form and in a format that we can use without having to rework it;
  • If you already have a technical glossary, send us a copy;
  • Consult us if you want to make changes to the translation;
  • Give us a copy of the final version.
  • These are simple recommendations to help with the translation: something more than just advice!
