Translation tends to take place near the end of the publication process, followed only by printing and distribution. But this does not mean that it deserves less attention at the planning stage. Companies tend to communicate at much the same time of year, resulting in backlogs and bottlenecks that we do our best to avoid, but cannot eliminate altogether.
So to ensure that your needs are met as speedily as possible, we strongly recommend that you:
:: consider translation (also of websites) early on in their production, not as an afterthought;
:: book your slot in advance;
:: give us a realistic deadline, bearing in mind the possibility of a backlog;
:: give us the text in electronic form and in a format that we can use immediately;
:: provide us with any technical glossaries that you may have already;
:: consult us on any changes you would like to make to the translation;
:: give us copy of the final version.
